From the middle of September, the needles of the larch turn from green to yellow, and then to glowing orange, red and brown. At the same time, a special and deep sunlight makes the Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage) appear wonderfully red.

Hikers and others who are interested can enjoy the special atmosphere, in the period from 08 September to 01 November 2026, on two sunset hikes: every Tuesday on the Stevia and Thursdays on Sëurasas. When the summer slowly comes to an end, an enchanting time begins in Val Gardena.
